Prenatal Yoga (During Pregnancy)
Prenatal yoga includes poses, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques specifically designed to:
- Relieve common physical discomforts (back pain, heavy legs, shortness of breath, pelvic tension, etc.)
- Improve posture and body alignment
- Encourage pelvic mobility and body awareness in preparation for birth
- Learn how to breathe and release tension consciously during contractions
- Build confidence in oneself, one’s body, and the birthing process
- Connect with the baby in utero
- Mentally and emotionally prepare for childbirth
There is no performance goal: the practice is adapted to each trimester and the energy of the moment.
